The John P. Elking Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund was created in memory of John Phillip Elking of St. Louis, Missouri. John attended CBC High School and attended Washington University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. His whole life, John was a parishoner of St. Raymond's Maronite Cathedral.

John was one of the most selfless, loving, and hardworking men. He lived his life placing family first and the interests of others ahead of his own. He was a great teacher, mentor, friend, cousin and uncle to so many people. His love and selflessness will carry on in all of our hearts and actions and so will the family he built so strong. He always believed in bettering oneself through growth and education.

In establishing this scholarship, John's family and friends wish to recognize the dedication to continued education of a St. Raymond's parishoner.
